''The idea behind this came from being at an only boy‘s boarding school and being brought up in a masculine environment with not every boy/young man feels able to speak about how they are feeling''

Please read and share widely and support if you can but their message is so much more important, and these young men get to the heart of what we are about.

You should also know that our biggest increase of users has been in the 16 to 24 age group since the start of Covid currently at 17% compared to 3% for the same period the year before.

''James and I have decided to run a boy’s touch rugby tournament within our school. To raise money for a Brothers and Arms for Men’s mental health and suicide prevention they are dedicated to reducing male suicide which is the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45.

It's so serious and rarely discussed and numbers show that in the UK 75% of suicides are male. The idea behind this came from being at an only boy‘s boarding school and being brought up in a masculine environment with not every boy/young man feels able to speak about how they are feeling and may not feel able to chat to someone for help.

Brothers in Arms educate and provide a service for boys and men alike to speak to someone about their problems or how they feel. Brother in Arms has recently developed an app that offers men to privately have support ranging from relaxation techniques such as meditation to thought training, sleep improvement, and goal progress tracking.

In the app further is their free immediate availability to licensed clinical physiologists or as they are called 'mental fitness coaches'. They are on hand Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm for free.

The waiting time to see a professional like them through the NHS would be around 12 weeks pre covid. Where here through the app you can have these coaches to speak to in a matter of seconds with the apps instant message.

It‘s an amazing cause which supports such a current topic which used to be something that was never discussed. We are aiming to encourage boys and men to speak up, and this charity is one that best represents our aims.

Thanks to anyone who donates, it is massively appreciated by us both.''
