The song confronts the difficulties so many have when faced with mental health problems while the video perfectly symbolises the strength of men talking and supporting each other, something which completely aligns with the values we have here at Brothers In Arms.

The band, made up of two best friends Adam and Sam, wrote the song with past experiences in mind. Adam, who was previously a music therapist in Glaswegian prisons, spoke about the track: “It was written about a period of time we’d both simultaneously spent in quite a bad place''.

“It’s about being there for someone forever, whether it’s a friend, family member, partner or whoever. The idea that people, especially British people and especially men, try not to cry or show weakness which is f***ing lame, so we tried to get across the feeling that showing vulnerability is a beautiful thing".

The video, set in a working man’s pub sees the pair help each other through a tough performance, with bright visuals drawing a stark comparison between their own joyful presence and the bland, almost dull setting they are in – a clear symbol for how no matter where you are or how you feel, how having the support from someone else can make your life brighter.

Dan Proverbs, founder of Brothers In Arms was delighted to have the opportunity to partner with the band. He said: ''It’s fantastic to be involved with HYYTS – as a Scottish men’s mental health charity everything that the guys address in their new release completely aligns with what we at Brothers In Arms are about.''

"I know that many of our followers and men who use our services will be able to relate to the issues tackled in the song, so we’re really honoured to be given an exclusive of the SOS video and look forward to working with the band more in the future.”
