Johnny Vegas recently opened up about his struggles with ADHD, which led him to take a break from filming the second series of his Channel 4 show, "Carry On Glamping." He shared that the pressures of the show, combined with the challenges of coming out of lockdown, left him feeling overwhelmed. Vegas stated, “I wasn't coping since I got my diagnosis of ADHD, and there was just too much being asked of me, and my coping mechanisms were not doing me any good."

In his appearance on BBC’s "The One Show," Vegas discussed the importance of mental health and the need for support during difficult times. He expressed gratitude for the understanding of his team, who encouraged him to prioritize his wellbeing. “I just had to say 'I can’t do this right now.' I was really lucky that the team just stepped back and said, ‘get yourself well and come back; we will pick up if and when we can,'" he added. After addressing his health issues, Vegas confirmed he would return to the show, which opens on April 12.
